COVID Cases Keep Declining In State


Roosevelt County had 12 active COVID cases as of Sunday, March 6. There have been 70 COVID-related deaths in the county. There is one current hospitalization.
County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.
Due to a reduction in COVID vaccinations, RCHD will be having its COVID vaccination clinic on Thursday, March 17, from 3-4:30 p.m. at Wolf Point. RCHD will be having its COVID vaccination clinic on Thursday, March 24, from 3-4:30 p.m. in Culbertson if needed.
Area Statistics Daniels County had zero active cases as of Monday, March 7. The county has 378 recovered cases and 387 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.
Valley County reports seven active cases as of Monday, March 7. The county has 1,648 recovered cases and 1,691 cumulative cases. There have been 36 COVID-related deaths.
In McCone County, there are no active cases as of Monday, March 7. There have been nine COVID-related deaths in the county. There have been 377 recovered cases and 386 cumulative cases.
Phillips County had five active cases as of Monday, March 7. There have been 1,020 recovered cases and 28 COVID-related deaths.
For Richland County, there were seven active cases and 2,526 recovered cases as of Friday, March 4. Total COVID-related deaths are 31. There have been 2,564 total cases.
Sheridan County had two active cases as of Tuesday, March 7. There have been 654 recovered cases and 11 COVID-related deaths.
Statewide According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 271,191 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,664,409 tests conducted.
Around the state, there are 1,061 active cases. There are 87 active hospitalizations. By Monday, March 6, a total of 3,208 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 266,922 people have recovered. A total of 11,700 have been hospitalized.
North Dakota Statistics Williams County, N.D., had 24 active cases as of Monday, March 7, bringing the cumulative total to 10,428. There have been 68 COVID-related deaths.
McKenzie County, N.D., had two active cases as of Monday, March 7, bringing the cumulative total to 3,242. There have been 25 COVID-related deaths.
Divide County, N.D., had zero cases as of Monday, March 7, bringing the cumulative total to 454. There have been four COVID-related deaths. Vaccine Doses As of Monday, March 7, 1,410,287 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 556,902 or 55 percent fully immunized Montanans.
In Roosevelt County, 11,896 total doses have been administered as of Monday, March 7. There are 4,975 fully immunized for 50 percent of the county’s 9,918 eligible for vaccination.
In Valley County, 7,751 total doses have been administered. There are 3,175 fully immunized for 46 percent of the county’s 6,931 eligible for vaccination.
In Daniels County, 1,731 total doses have been administered. There are 702 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s 1,559 eligible for vaccination.
In McCone County, 1,108 total doses have been administered. There are 428 fully immunized for 27 percent of the county’s 1,562 eligible for vaccination.
In Richland County, 9,799 total doses have been administered. There are 4,190 fully immunized for 41 percent of the county’s 10,310 eligible for vaccination.
In Phillips County, 4,262 total doses have been administered. There are 1,770 fully immunized for 48 percent of the county’s 3,675 eligible for vaccination.
In Sheridan County, 4,614 total doses have been administered. There are 1,839 fully immunized for 60 percent of the county’s 3,075 eligible for vaccination.
