James Lambert

James Edward Lambert, 83, of Fort Peck died Thursday, March 3, 2022 in Billings.

He was born June 9, 1938, to Edward and Grace Boger in Catasauqua, Pa.

He joined the U.S. Marine Corps.

He married Evelyn Billman on Nov. 9, 1961. The family moved from Pennsylvania in 1975 to make their home in Montana.

He was an engineer for BNSF Railway and eventually retired in the 1990s.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Lambert of Fort Peck; sons, Rusty Lambert and Rod Lambert; daughter, Kimberly
