Red Hawks Lose To North Country Team

Froid/Lake’s girls’ basketball team lost to North Country, 62-22, in the first round of the Eastern C divisional tournament in Sidney on Thursday, March 3. The Red Hawks were behind 18-9 at the end of the first quarter and 35-14 at the half.

North Country added 17 points in the third quarter for a 52-18 advantage.

Baylee Davidson scored 11 points for the Red Hawks. She hit three three-pointers in the contest.

Also scoring were Carolyne Christoffersen with six, Dasani Nesbit with three and Alexa Nelson with two points.

Paige Wasson accounted for 28 of North Country’s points. Jaycee Erickson added 11 and Teagan Erickson scored nine points.

Wasson and Erickson had eight rebounds.
