2C Players Receive Post Season Boys’ Basketball Recognition
Froid/Lake’s Javonne Nesbit and Mason Dethman have each been selected to the Class C All-State boys’ basketball team. Nesbit is a senior and Dethman is a sophomore. Nesbit and Dethman were also All-State selections last year.
Also receiving All-State and All-Conference honors were Bainville’s senior Jesse Strickland, Fairview’s junior Hunter Sharbono, Fairview’s senior Kanyon Taylor, Plentywood’s junior Reese Wirtz and Richey/Lambert’s senior Grady Gonsioroski.
Froid/Lake’s seniors Tyler Wivholm and Brett Stentoft were also voted to the District 2C All-Conference squad.
Also selected All-Conference was Circle’s junior Beau Beery.
Bainville’s senior Braeden Romo and junior Ayden Knudsen were each second- team selections. Culbertson’s junior Colin Avance and Froid/Lake’s senior Bode Miller were also voted to the second team.
Others on the second team were Plentywood’s junior Caydon Trupe, Fairview’s sophomore Jeff Tjelde, Richey/Lambert’s senior Brett Mullin, Plentywood’s junior Easton Tommerup, Savage’s senior Caesn Erickson and MonDak’s senior Erik Field.
Defensive first team picks were Wivholm, Dethman, Fairview’s senior Jace Vitt, Sharbono and Gonsioroski.
Defensive second team selections were Froid/Lake’s senior Conner Huft, Wirtz, MonDak’s senior Spencer Rudningen, Circle’s junior Seth Dyk and Mullin.
