Family Dollar To Expand In Wolf Point

By Bill Vander Weele

After a liquidation sale, the Family Dollar store in Wolf Point will expand.

Store manager Jim Dye explains that there will be a 30 percent off sale this week, 50 percent off the following week and then 75-90 percent off the next week.

The store will then temporarily close on April 21 for about five to six weeks. The store is set to tentatively reopen on June 9. When it opens, the new Family Dollar/Dollar Tree combination will occupy the entire area of the former Shopko location.

Dye said he’s told that Wolf Point will be only the third or fourth Family Dollar store in the entire nation to combine with Dollar Tree to provide great discounts to customers.

“It’s a good thing for the community,” Dye said.
