Oelkers Elected MSU’s Student Body President
Culbertson native Lucas Oelkers has been elected the new president for the Associated Students of Montana State University.
Oelkers, a junior studying mechanical engineering, served as the ASMSU Supreme Court Chief Justice and is involved with engineering clubs, Lutheran Campus Ministries, Cross-Life and was a Montana FFA state officer.
He and vice president Isabella Roccisano said their goal is to create an environment where every student feels like they’re a part of the Bobcat family. This will be done by actively looking toward students for input when making changes on campus.
