Bainville accounted for 60 points in the girls’ division and 52 points in the boys’ division during the Savage Invitational on Tuesday, April 26.

Samuel Butikofer cleared 6-0 in the high jump for first place in the boys’ division.

Charles Butikofer placed second in the javelin at 124-9, second in the high jump at 5-8, sixth in the 200 at 28.4, sixth in the long jump at 16-10 and fourth in the discus at 104-2.

Ayden Knudsen finished fourth in the 400 with a time of 62.24 and fourth in the 800 at 2.34.20 seconds. The junior took fifth in the 1600 at 5:47.36.

S. Butikofer took fourth in the 200 at 28.27 and fourth in the 400 at 62.24.

Carter Winn took fifth in the triple jump at 35-04 and fourth in the 300-meter hurdles at 51.02 seconds.

In the girls’ division, Elsie Wilson cleared 4-10 for top honors in the high jump. The freshman placed second in the 100-meter hurdles at 18.91 seconds, second in the 300-meter hurdles in 55.95, second in the 100 at 14.48 and fourth in the 200 at 30.31 seconds.

Miah Pippenger placed third in the javelin at 71-08, third in the shot put at 27-05 and sixth in the discus at 63-08.

Kendra Romo earned fourth in the discus at 74-06 and fourth in the javelin at 70-04.

Bainville battled against athletes from classes A, B and C during the Elks Invitational in Glendive on Thursday, April 28.

Bainville’s boys scored 1.5 points at the meet.

Charles Butikofer cleared 5-8 to earn sixth place in the high jump.

Samuel Butikofer took 11th in the high jump by clearing 5-4.

On the girls’ side, Elsie Wilson took ninth in the high jump and 10th in the 100-meter hurdles.

The Bulldogs will travel to Fairview on Thursday, May 5.
