St. Anthony’s Church Hosts Mother’s Day Brunch
The Larry Reitz Knights of Columbus Council worked hard Sunday, May 8, to serve the annual Mother’s Day brunch following Mass.
The Knights served the gathering ham, pancakes, scrambled eggs and fresh diced fruit.
Grand knight Gregg La-Batte received corsages for the mothers and residents at the Roosevelt Memorial Nursing Home.
The Knights purchased matching table decorations and settings from Finnicum’s and The Party Place in Sidney to add to the festive environment.
The winner of the flower basket was Jacqueline Aliganga, a teacher from Froid.
The Knights work throughout the week, especially Saturday, preparing the hall and the kitchen for the event.
