Elks Hoop Shoot Scheduled In Wolf Point

Wolf Point will host the annual Elks Hoop Shoot starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov.6, in the Wolf Point High School gym.

The first 30 participants will receive a free drawstring bag and water bottle.

The Elks Hoop Shoot is a national free throw shooting contest that has taken place for 50 years.

The contest is open to youngsters 8-13 years old. The event is free to enter. The three age groups are 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13 with boys and girls competing separately.

The top participants at the Lodge contest will advance to the district event. There are also state, regional and national contests.
