Frazer Bearcubs Lose To Mavericks

Frazer’s boys’ basketball team lost a tough 57-53 contest against North Country on Saturday, Feb. 11.

North Country led 21-10 at the end of the first quarter and by a 27-26 half-time margin.

The Mavericks held a 41-32 lead after the third quarter. The Bearcubs accounted for 21 points in the final period.

In the girls’ game, North Country won by an 89-17 score.

North Country jumped out to a 35-3 lead in the first quarter and held a 61-14 half-time advantage.

Scoring for the Bearcubs were LIanna Jackson with nine and Angel Nelligan with eight points.

Leading North Country were Paige Wasson with 25 and Teagan Erickson with 23 points.
