Glasgow Police Officer On Leave

Glasgow Police Department officer Joshua Nolan has been placed on paid administrative leave pending an ongoing investigation from the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation.

Nolan has been on leave since January.

GPD Chief Robert Weber told area press he could not discuss the reasons for the investigation or any details about Nolan’s future with the department.

Nolan appeared in front of Judge Yvonne Laird in Valley County District Court Jan. 18 regarding an order of protection brought against him by a Glasgow resident Jan. 12. A temporary order of protection was granted at that time.

Evidence indicated Nolan engaged in stalking, setting out to intimidate and harass, all of which caused the plaintiff distress and emotional harm. Judge Laird dissolved the temporary protection order at the hearing, indicating that contact should cease.
