Players Named To All-Tournament Team

Based on ballots from coaches, the All-Tournament team for the Eastern C boys’ basketball tournament has been selected.

Fairview’s senior Hunter Sharbono was voted the most valuable player of the tournament.

Also selected to the first team were Lustre Christian’s senior Elijah Lenihan, Lustre Christian’s junior Cayden Klatt, Froid/Lake’s junior Mason Dethman and Fairview’s junior Jeff Tjelde.

The second team consisted of Plentywood’s junior Noah Murray, Lustre Christian’s senior Jasiah Hambira, Scobey’s junior Braxton Wolfe, Plentywood’s sophomore Carson Solberg and Bainville’s senior Ayden Knudsen.

The defensive first team featured Froid/Lake’s Dethman, Fairview’s Sharbono, Scobey’s Wolfe, Lustre Christian’s Lenihan and Lustre Christian’s Hambira.

Voted to the defensive second team were Fairview’s Tjelde, Plentywood’s senior Easton Tommerup, Froid/ Lake’s junior Nate Stentoft, Savage’s junior Cade Tombre and Plentywood’s senior Caydon Trupe.

Lustre Christian defeated Fairview, 51-50, in the divisional title game held in Wolf Point.
