Wolf Point Tennis Players Present Quilt To Driver

It was a great display of gratitude when Wolf Point’s tennis players presented a star quilt last week.

The recipient was Shawn Boysun, who was the bus driver when the team was involved in a vehicle accident on Saturday, April 1.

The players and Coach Dan Horsmon presented Boysun with a star quilt that was made by Jen Purvis of MT Star Quilt of Sidney.

“The tennis team and myself wish to thank you for what you did,” Horsmon said.

Boysun also received hugs from the players.

“I appreciate it,” he said. At a recent school board meeting, Superintendent Eileen Karge said she considers bus driver Shawn Boysun a hero for his service when the tennis bus was involved in an accident.

“We were so fortunate that he was the bus driver that day,” Karge said.
