Wolf Point Choral Students Perform During Spring Concert
Wolf Point’s singers provided a series of numbers during the high school/junior high spring concert on Tuesday, May 16.
Songs from the junior high choir included Singing Freedom’s Song and I Will Follow. The junior high joined with the high school choir to perform The Old Mill.
Members of the high school choir then entertained the audience with several songs.
A men’s group performed, The Dying Rebel. Walker Harmon then did an excellent job with the solo, The Black Dress.
A women’s group then sang, Remember Me.
The final selection was To Everything There Is A Season.
The school district’s music director Russell Johnson thanked seniors DeRay Peltier, Abigail Ponce-Curl, Julianna Garfield and Rebekah Landsrud.
“We can’t thank you enough,” Johnson said. “You will be missed, but your legacy will carry on as will theirs.”
Students presented accompanist Sharon Kolstad for her assistance.
“Music is the heart of the soul,” Kolstad told audience members.
She added that the students have talent that they utilize in the community.
High school choir members included Riley Benton, Julianna Garfield, Cante’ Grey Bull, Madison Eder, Rebekah Landsrud, Adriana MacDonald, A’mare Martell, Abigail Ponce-Curl, Quiarrah Rios, Ryver Summers, Chase Adams, Cole Boysun, Dante’ Granbois-Dionne, Walker Harmon, Del Eymard, Francis Good Track, Ryan Schumacher and Logan Wolff.
Junior high choir students include Ryelei Bauer, Kailani Chamberlain, Ta’leigha Headdress, Kaleigha Laverdure, Justyne Martell, Azarea McConnell, Jeina Reum, Mar’Tavius Bad Hawk, Kevin Brock, Jay Davis, Aedyn Dionne, Brenden Drum, Kole Johnson, Kashtin Lizotte and Andrew Walking Eagle-Fleming.
