Martha Lambert

Martha Mary Lambert, age 87, died May 23, 2023, at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point.

She was born in Harlem on Nov. 17, 1935, to James and Mary Shawl.

She later moved to Wolf Point and married James Edward Lambert Sr. on March 15, 1956. The loving couple would then start having a large family. James died Nov. 19, 1987.

She was also very strong and a devoted Christian. She loved doing beadwork and attending pow-wows. She also loved watching thunderstorms in the summer while doting on her grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her. She was always positive and always laughing or making jokes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Lambert Sr.; daughters, Marnita Terry Lambert, Mary Martha Lambert and Holly Sue Lambert Black Eagle; and sons, Daniel Lambert and James Lambert Jr.
