Rollover Reported At Fort Peck
Valley County Sheriff Tom Boyer told area media that a caller reported a single vehicle rollover accident on Highway 24 just east of the Duck Creek Road and the Gateway restaurant at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 20.
Law enforcement arrived and observed a single male occupant trapped inside the car. Local ambulance, EMS and volunteer fire departments responded to the scene. The VCSO responded with three deputies who were on scene within four minutes, said Boyer.
Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
According to a press release from the Glasgow City/Long Run Fire Department, the sole occupant was trapped in the vehicle and required extrication. “We had 12 fire department members respond with a command vehicle, a rescue truck, a structure engine and water tender,” said the statement.
The driver was transported to Francis Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow with injuries.
