Church Team Arrives To Help In Community
The popular vacation Bible adventure at Gospel Fellowship Church in Wolf Point is featuring a committed team from Colorado to assist in instructing the kindergarten through fifth-grade students.
The team consists of 13 individuals, ranging from age 7 to age 83, from Littleton, Colo. They are members of the Mosaic Church in Littleton, Colo., where Gospel Fellowship’s Pastor Mike Andrews and his wife, Diane, served before coming to Wolf Point.
“A lot of us knew Mike and Diane for several years,” team member Abby Blaskovich said. “We wanted to continue the relationship and help.”
Officials anticipate about 100 students will attend the week-long event.
“We’re looking forward to getting to know the kids and having fun with them,” Blaskovich said.
The team’s time in Wolf Point will include reaching out to the community in other ways as well.
They handed out sack lunches and bottled water to children along with adults in need on Tuesday. They also landscaped at the library in Wolf Point.
On Thursday, they will repaint a building at a local daycare.
Team members are hoping to make a return trip to Wolf Point each year.
“We have the intent,” Blaskovich said.
