Author Shares Book With Children

Visiting author Abby Blaskovich entertained children during a story hour presentation at the Roosevelt County Library in Wolf Point on Tuesday, July 19.

Blaskovich is the author of Praise All Ways - A Children’s Guide to Praise All the Time With a Little Rhyme.

She explained to the children that she enjoyed reading when she was a child, but she didn’t plan to become a writer.

A couple of years ago while reading a Dr. Seuss book to her children, she thought it would be fun to write a book of rhymes to teach youngsters to worship God.

“I just started writing down ideas,” she said. “I’m telling you so you can write a book, too.”

The book includes, “You can praise him when you’re snuggling. You can praise him when you’re struggling. You can praise him on a train, and when you’re jetting on a plane.”

Blaskovich gave free books to children attending the event. A free bag lunch for parents and their children was provided.
