Summer Theatre Season Ends In Misery
The Fort Peck Summer Theatre concludes its 54th season with the cat-andmouse thriller, Misery.
Pam L. Veis and Andy Meyers star in this brand-new stage adaptation of the Academy Award winning Stephen King classic! A thrilling and tense plot unfolds, as a famous novelist finds himself trapped in the secluded home of his “biggest fan”. Following fan favorites The Woman in Black and Wait Until Dark, the famous story will keep audience on the edge of their seats!
Bringing over a decade of chemistry to their iconic roles, Veis and Meyers have shared the stage in multiple FPST productions, including Leading Ladies, The Music Man, Driving Miss Daisy, Cabaret, Lend Me a Tenor, On Golden Pond and many Off-Season readings. Jay Michael Roberts is also featured as Sheriff Buster.
Misery is directed by Trey Compton, who previously directed FPST’s 2015 production of One Man Two Guvnors, alongside an exciting design tram compromised of FPST veterans and alum: Shy Iverson (scenic), Sarah Bell (costumes), Brittany Archambeault (props), Spencer Perry (lighting) and Corbin Hopkins (sound). Jenny Smith is stage manager, with Sydney Hayward as ASM.
Misery runs Aug. 18 through Sept. 3: Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m.
