Go Getters Planned

The 57th annual Go-Getters Youth Rodeo is set for Sunday, Sept. 10, south of Wolf Point at the Go-Getters Arena. Del Hansen is arena director and Robert Toavs will announce.

The Queen Contest (12 and under) starts at 9 a.m. Other events include goat tying, barrel racing, flag race, pole bending, key hole race, steer decorating, breakaway roping, team roping, sheep riding (only the first 20 entries, six and under) and a wild calf race.

Prizes will be awarded for best all-around cowgirl and cowboy in each age group. Prizes will also be awarded for Hard Luck Cowgirl and Cowboy and for the wild calf race.

Pre-entry is required and costs vary by age range. No late entries will be accepted. All contestants must have a signed release by parent or guardian to participate.
