Area Runners Compete At Frazer Invitational
Frazer hosted nearly 20 teams for its annual cross-country meet at Clark’s Hill on Thursday, Sept. 21.
Wolf Point’s Peyton Summers was the overall winner in the meet. The senior ran the course in 16:08.23.
Harlem’s Branlin Foote finished second at 17:26.51. Plenty- Coup’s Enson Pretty Kills Enemy took third at 18:01.49.
Top boys’ teams were Harlem with 15 points, Poplar with 27 and Plenty-Coup with 29 points.
Wolf Point placed sixth with 59 points.
Wolf Point’s freshman Reilly Rees took 34th place at 22:13.07. Senior Trent Hamilton placed 37th at 22:31.45.
Kevin Brock was 58th at 24:53.68.
Frazer’s boys finished in seventh place in the team standings with 74 points.
Gabe Beston led the Bearcubs with a time of 19:50.38 for 13th place.
Cassius Smoker took 36th at 22:22.24.
Ty Fourstar was 54th at 24:22.53.
Christopher Fox was 55th at 24:23.32. Travis Long took 60th at 26:38.85.
Joseph Beston finished in 63rd place with a time of 28:28.05. Jarvis Goodbird officially was 65th at 32:07.01.
In the girls’ division, Glasgow topped the field with 10 points. Tied for second with 22 points each were Poplar and Scobey. Circle took fourth with 37 points.
Glasgow’s Tanae Baker was the individual winner with a time of 19:48.91.
Wolf Point’s freshman Lakealah Mays placed 27th with a time of 27:53.06.
Frazer’s girls placed sixth in the team standings with 72 points.
Frazer’s Shakira Beston finished 36th at 29:45.96.
Isabelle Even took 38th at 30:58.59. Lola Romero was 44th at 32:35.55.
