Red Hawks Remain Undefeated
The Froid-Lake Red Hawks accounted for 44 points in the first quarter and downed Brockton, 83-0, at home on Saturday, Sept. 30.
The Red Hawks held a 58-0 half-time advantage and a 77-0 lead after three quarters of play.
Froid/Lake’s first four touchdowns came on the defensive end on a 28-yard interception return by Mason Dethman, a 26-yard fumble recovery by Daniel Forizs, an 11-yard fumble return by Dethman and an eight-yard fumble return by Nate Stentoft.
Also scoring in the first quarter were Eddie Orozco on a two-yard run and Rylan Young on an 18-yard dash.
The Red Hawks added two touchdowns in the second quarter. Orozco scored on a 45-yard run and Trent Williams reached the end zone on a 42-yard run.
Young returned the opening kickoff of the second half 50 yards for a touchdown. He then scored on an eight-yard run. A 28-yard fumble return by Ethan Roeder put the margin at 77-0.
Roeder scored on a 53-yard run in the fourth quarter for the 83-0 final.
The Red Hawks will play at Plevna on Saturday, Oct. 7.
