Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 60 calls from Oct. 17-22. The calls included: October 17

Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash near Froid at the intersection of Highways 16 and 344. Froid’s fire department and ambulance also responded. Patients were transported to the Culbertson hospital. Charges are pending.

Deputies performed a welfare check on an adult male and female in Wolf Point. Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice assisted.

Deputies responded to a medical assistance call in Bainville. An ambulance took a female to the hospital in Culbertson.

Deputies responded to a report of a 20-year-old female allegedly being intoxicated and creating a disturbance in Fort Kipp. A citation was issued to Devyn Lizotte, 20, for being in the possession of intoxicants while under the age of 21. She was cited to tribal court.

October 18

Deputies responded to a report of two juveniles fighting in Culbertson. Deputies reviewed a video of the incident. A juvenile female was issued a citation for assault.

October 19

Deputies responded to Wolf Point for a report of a stolen 1991 GMC flatbed truck. It was found that the stolen vehicle was sold to a third party. The vehicle was returned without incident. The investigation is continuing.

Deputies responded to a report of disorderly behavior in Fort Kipp. Devyn Lizotte, 20, was cited for disorderly conduct and being in the possession of intoxicants while under the age of 21. She was transported to adult tribal jail.

Deputies responded to a residence in Wolf Point. Deputies assisted the Wolf Point Police Department in removing an adult male from the premises.

October 20

Deputies assisted FPTDLJ at an address in Poplar for a report of a fight involving three adults.

Deputies responded to a report of an assault with a weapon in Poplar. One male was allegedly hit with a bar. A person was transported to the Poplar hospital. Deputies assisted FPTDLJ.

October 21

Deputies assisted WPPD with removing an individual from Town Pump in Wolf Point.

Deputies assisted other agencies with a report of a man pointing a gun at another party. Agencies searched for the man, who was on foot.

Deputies assisted other agencies in a joint investigation of a juvenile female cited for assault of an officer, criminal mischief, trespassing and being a minor in possession.

Deputies assisted in a call of a possible overdose. Law enforcement administered Narcan and the person was treated in the emergency room.

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office received a thank you note to a deputy and two dispatchers who assisted when hunters had their vehicle stuck while bird hunting.
