Frazer Girls Score Opening Victory

The Frazer Bearcubs jumped out to a 16-2 lead in the first quarter and downed Reed Point/Rapelje to open their girls’ basketball season in Lockwood on Friday, Dec. 1.

Maci Fourstar-Sibley accounted for seven points in the first quarter to lead the Bearcubs. Hitting three-pointers in the period were Isabelle Fourstar and Shakira Beston.

Frazer increased its lead to 27-12 at the half. Angel Nelligan and Baily Beston each scored four points in the second quarter.

The Bearcubs held a 42-20 advantage after three quarters of play. Lola Romero fired in a three-pointer during the quarter.

Fourstar-Sibley led Frazer with 13 points. B. Beston finished with 10 points.

Also scoring for the Bearcubs were Fourstar with eight, Nelligan with seven, S. Beston with three and Romero with three.
