Board members of the Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture discussed the Christmas Stroll during its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 5.

“We had a big group of people helping,” board president Jerald Petersen said. “That was great.”

Chamber board members were pleased with the good turnout for the event held on Saturday, Dec. 2.

It was noted that there were three new displays and that the hay rides were very popular.

Board member Jeff Presser asked that local businesses consider sponsoring displays for future Christmas Strolls.

The chamber has been advertising for a new executive director.

With less than a month left in 2023, the chamber has 73 members.

Due to a conflict in December, the After Hours event at the Wolf Point Elks Event Center will occur on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024.

Chamber officials continue to research having the Jordan World Circus come to Wolf Point.

Wolf Point superintendent of schools David Perkins said that the school district’s next strategic planning meeting will occur on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024, probably starting about 6 p.m. in the high school library.

He encouraged all interested individuals to attend the meeting with a goal of improving the Wolf Point School District.

“We want to have a cross-section of the town,” Perkins said.
