Lustre Posts Victory Over Broadus
Lustre Christian’s boy ’basketball squad broke away in the second quarter to beat Broadus, 78-48, on Friday, Dec. 8.
The Lions trailed by a 15-11 margin at the end of the first quarter, but Lustre exploded for 26 points in the second quarter for a 37-25 half-time advantage.
The Lions poured in 27 more points in the third quarter to increase their lead to 64-32.
Cayden Klatt and Johnslee Pierre scored 22 points each to lead the Lions. Byron Ewing added 12 points.
Also scoring for the Lions were Cam Reddig with eight, Clay Reddig with four, Terran Joseph with four, Diek Olfert with two, Eyosias Ayalew with two and Brian Guedes with two points.
