Lady Wolves Lose Contest In Fairview
Wolf Point’s girls’ basketball team struggled early and lost at Fairview by a 41-34 final on Friday, Jan. 19.
After Fairview gained a 20-8 lead in the first quarter, the Wolves closed the margin to 24-21 at intermission.
The Warriors then increased their advantage to 35-25 during the third quarter. Keeley Blount-Henderson led Wolf Point with 11 points. Adding six points each were Juellz Bauer, Kylie Rodenberg and Azalei Ackerman. Rodenberg hit two three-pointers.
Scoring two points each were Kashlyn Speak Thunder, Karmyn Plain Feather and Ameliya Doney.
Top scorers for Fairview were Macy Tjelde with nine, Brooklyn Anderson with eight and Gracelyn Free with six points.
