Lustre Knocks Off Frazer Squads

The Lustre Christian Lions won both league basketball contests in Frazer on Friday, Jan. 26.

Lustre’s girls posted an 8253 victory. The Lions gained a 23-9 lead in the first quarter and increased the gap to 3823 in the second period.

Alexa Reddig enjoyed an outstanding game for the Lions with 31 points.

Aubri Holzrichter finished with 15. Grace Brown and Kencia Brown added 10 points each.

Also scoring for Lustre were Lauren Fast with eight and Lauryn Holzrichter with six points.

Leading the Bearcubs were Angelina White with 18 and Maci Fourstar-Sibley with 15 points.

Also scoring for Frazer were Baily Beston with eight, Shakira Beston with six and Isabelle Fourstar with six points.

In the boys’ game, Lustre earned an 82-23 win. The Lions jumped out to a 31-11 lead in the first quarter and held a 53-14 advantage at intermission.

Reaching double figures for Lustre were Terran Joseph with 18, Cam Reddig with 11 and Johnslee Pierre with 10 points.

Also scoring were Cayden Klatt with nine, Byron Ewing with eight, Diek Olfert with six, Joel Reddig with five, Ife Aniobi with four, Nathan Fast with four, Clay Reddig with four, Prestyn Klatt with four and Hadden Olfert with one.

Ty Fourstar scored 10 points for the Bearcubs. Also scoring for Frazer were Christopher Fox with four, Cassius Smoker with three, Travis Long with three, Gabriel Beston with two and Zayden Hentges with one point.
