Bestons Lead Bearcubs To Victories

Big scoring nights by Joseph Beston and Gabriel Beston led Frazer’s boys’ basketball team to a 75-68 win in Dodson on Saturday, Feb. 3.

The game was deadlocked at 53-53 after three quarters of play, but the Bearcubs scored 22 points in the fourth quarter for the league victory.

Leading Frazer’s attack were Joseph Beston with 29 and Gabriel Beston with 20 points.

Ty Fourstar also reached double figures with 14 points. Also scoring were Travis Long with nine and Cassius Smoker with three points.

Junior Stiffarm accounted for 37 points.

In the girls’ game, Frazer picked up a 76-40 victory.

The Bearcubs jumped out to a 14-2 lead in the first quarter and held a 37-17 half-time advantage.

Baily Beston exploded for 26 points to lead the Bearcubs.

Maci Fourstar-Sibley added 15 points. Shakira Beston and Kassidy Hentges had nine points each. Isabelle Fourstar and Angeline White each scored six points. Audrey Mail had three points.

Jazlyn KillEagle tallied 23 points for Dodson.
