Nyquist Essay Contest Deadline Is March 15
The Nyquist foundation hosts a Community Student Essay Contest administered by the Culbertson, Froid and Brockton Public Libraries. If you are a current high school student at Culbertson, Froid or Brockton High School, you can submit your essay for consideration.
This year’s essay prompt: “How are you feeling about the future of the world, and why?”
Guidelines: A well-written personal essay, researched essay or opinion piece. May include research from published sources or interviews, both of which must be footnoted. A range of 500-1000 words typed double-spaced with an introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion. Please put essay title in the center top; name, date and town in the right top. You may get help from your local library.
The deadline for the competition is March 15. Eligibility: students in Culbertson, Froid, and Brockton grades 8-12. Awards: One first prize of $250 and one second prize of $150 for each town.
