Red Hawks Fall Against Fusion, 55-34

Froid/Lake’s girls’ basketball squad couldn’t overcome a poor start and lost to Richey/Lambert, 55-34, at the District 2C tournament on Friday, Feb. 16.

The Fusion jumped out to an 11-3 lead in the first quarter and held a 28-12 half-time advantage.

Richey/Lambert held a 4227 lead after three quarters of play.

Isabelle Nordwick led the Red Hawks with 17 points. Also scoring were Mara Salvevold with six, Brooklynn Nordwick with four, Addison Elvsaas with three, Joelle Davidson with three and Keira Stentoft with one point.

B. Nordwick had eight rebounds.

Jolee Klempel accounted for 22 points for the Richey-Lambert Fusioh. Keira Rains scored nine points, Lauren Prevost had eight points and Brie Mullin added seven points.

Rains finished with three assists and three steals.
