Lustre Athletes Ready For District Track Meet

Lustre’s Terran Joseph enjoyed an outstanding track meet during action in Wolf Point on Friday, May 3.

The senior was a triple- winner as he finished first in the 100-meter dash at 12.01, 200 at 23.9 and 400 at 53.78 seconds. He also placed fifth in the long jump with a mark of 19-0.

Lustre scored 59 points to place third in the boys’ standings. Glasgow topped the standings with 91.5 points.

Prestyn Klatt finished fourth in the 800 at 2:18.38 and 1600 at 5:08.81. Byron Ewing took fourth in the 400 at 56.29 seconds.

Cameron Reddig earned third in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 48.77 seconds.

Brian Guedes took sixth in the long jump with a mark of 18-8.

The 400-meter relay team of Guedes, Ewing, Emeka Aniobi and Joseph finished second at 46.35 seconds.

Lauryn Holzrichter had a strong performance for Lustre’s girls as she placed fifth in the 300-meter hurdles at 54.52 seconds, seventh in the 100-meter hurdles and seventh in the high jump.

The District 3C track meet is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, in Wolf Point.
