Poplar, Wolf Point Golfers Compete At Poplar Meet

Golfers from Poplar and Wolf Point each competed at the Poplar Invitational held at the Wolf Point Airport Golf Course on Thursday, May 2.

Poplar took fourth place in the team standings with a score of 372 and Wolf Point took 10th at 528. Scobey topped the boys’ standings at 357.

Poplar’s Kaniel Ricker tied for third place by shooting an 87. Landon Young tied for eighth with a 91. Lukas Young was 12th with a 94. Quinn Sutherland placed 22nd with an 100.

Kameron Reum took 25th at 105. Navarjo Escarcega was 34th at 110.

Scores for Wolf Point included Oliver Garrison with a 109 for 33rd place, Zeke Gourneau with a 121, Conway Turcotte with a 134 and Chaz Kegley with a 154.

Scores for Poplar’s girls were Masina Youpee with a 142 and Francesca Crawford with a 148.
