Commissioners Hire Museum Curatorial Staff

The Roosevelt County Commissioners held their regular meeting May 7 in Wolf Point. Sandy Woodstock was approved for hire as curator for the Wolf Point Area Museum. Kaleah White Bear was approved as assistant curator.

The DUI Task Force work plan and revised by-laws were approved. Task force leader AJ Allen was on hand to provide an update on the program.

The home delivered meal program for Culbertson seniors was also approved. Meals will be delivered by Roosevelt Medical Center for the aging department at total cost of $17.50 per meal. Cost estimates for the remaining towns and cities in the county are being collected.

Ernesto Hernandez was approved for hire with the detention center.

Annual pay raises were approved for Alyssa Toavs and Edith YellowRobe.

Minutes were approved for the April 23 regular meeting, as were claims for the month of April. The next council meeting is set for Tuesday, May 21.
