Stampede To Receive Grant Funding

Wolf Point’s Wild Horse Stampede and Rodeo will receive $23,200 of Economic Impact and Destination Event Grant funding from the Montana Department of Commerce as part of more than $750,000 in grant funding that was given to support 44 destination events to enhance Montana tourism.

The Commerce’s Economic Impact and Destination Event Grant Program received more than 60 applications across Montana.

Other eastern Montana recipients included the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale receiving $25,000, the Sidney Christmas Stroll receiving $17,900 and Terry’s Rock’n on the Corner in Prairie County receiving $23,119.
