Home cooking was good for the Post #49 Bulls as they picked up two victories in Froid on Wednesday, June 26.

The Bulls won the first contest by a 9-6 final over the Watford City Phillies.

The Bulls trailed 2-1 before striking for three runs in the bottom of the third inning. Trent Williams, Plenny Williams and Henry Kukowski scored for the Bulls in the frame.

A pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth increased the lead to 6-3. A single by Ty Leischner that scored Kash Ator highlighted the frame.

The Bulls added another run in the fifth and two more runs in the sixth inning. Jaydeen Hanshew scored on a ground-out by Logan Brown in the fifth. T. Williams scored on a single by Leischner and P. Williams came around on a hit by Kukowski in the sixth.

Leading the Bulls with two hits each were P. Williams and Leischner. Having two RBIs was Leischner.

Kukowski pitched four innings for the victory. L. Brown pitched the final two and two-thirds innings.

In the second game, the Bulls downed the Phillies by a 4-2 final.

Leischner pitched the distance to register the win. He struck-out 15 batters in the contest.

The Bulls jumped out to a 3-0 advantage in the bottom of the first inning. Leischner, P. Williams and Kukowski scored in the frame.

In the bottom of the third, P. Williams crossed the plate on a wild pitch for a 3-0 advantage.

P. Williams led the Bulls’ attack with two hits. He finished with two RBIs and two runs scored.

The Bulls are scheduled to play in Glendive this weekend.
