The Post #49 Bulls capped off their home schedule by sweeping a double-header against Crosby, N.D., on Tuesday, July 16.

The standout pitching of Kash Ator highlighted play in the first contest as the Bulls won by a 5-4 final.

Ator allowed eight hits and struck-out three batters for the victory.

The Bulls jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning. Plenny Williams belted a double to bring home both Preston Swenson and Henry Kukowski to put the Bulls ahead.

The Bulls added three runs in the bottom of the fifth for a 5-0 advantage. Ty Leischner singled and came around to score on an error for the inning’s first run. After hitting a triple, Kukowski stole home for a 4-0 lead. Swenson later scored on a passed ball.

The Cubs scored one run in the sixth and three in the seventh for the 5-4 final. The potential tying run was left stranded on second base to end the game.

Kukowski led the Bulls with two hits. Hitting triples were Swenson and Kukowski.

In the second game, the Bulls exploded for nine runs in the bottom of the first inning en route to a 12-2 victory.

Williams and Kukowski each accounted for two hits to lead the Bulls. Williams connected for a double and a triple. Swenson added a double.

Alex Moreno scored three runs for the Bulls. Logan Brown and Williams scored two runs each.

Williams finished with three runs batted in. Swenson had two RBIs.

Moreno pitched the first three innings for the victory. He fanned three batters. L. Brown registered two strikeouts during the final two innings.
