Cultural Fair Scheduled In Poplar For Sept. 23-26

The Fort Peck Tribes Cultural Resource Department is presenting the 25th annual Cultural Fair Sept. 23-26 in Poplar. The event will be held at American Legion Park.

Fort Peck Tribes Cultural Resources Department director Dyan Youpee said, there will be presentations by Fort Union Trading Post, Pipestone National Park, Battle of Little Bighorn NPS, Fish, Wildlife and Parks, Lewis and Clark Historic Trail and booths from different tribal departments.

A press release from the organization offers dances, drum and language sessions, archeology activities, tipi construction lessons, horse rides, outdoor games and other educational activities.
