Bigger Sky Kids Receives Grant For Painting Class

Bigger Sky Kids has received a grant, in support of Cathryn McIntyre’s class in studio art, from the O.P. and W.E. Edwards Foundation of Red Lodge.

Through its General Fund, the Edwards Foundation supports organizations that provide children with a bridge to a life of greater opportunity. They focus on underserved communities, with a special interest in Native American children. Their goals of helping kids build self-confidence, improve self-image, increase motivation and broaden horizons correspond closely to those of Bigger Sky Kids.

The grant of $8,160 will bring McIntyre back to teach 30 classes in 2024–25. All children enrolled at Wolf Point’s Northside School and junior high are welcome to apply.
