Chamber Board Planning Activities
The Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture has exciting activities planned in the near future with the goal of benefiting chamber members.
The Chamber After Hours celebration is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 26, at Cattlemen’s Cut. Sponsoring the event will be Opportunity Bank and Nutrien Ag Solutions.
The chamber board approved providing up to $600 to co-sponsor a beginners and advance Quickbooks with the Great Northern Development Corp. Chamber members will receive a discounted rate for the instruction scheduled in November.
On Oct. 2, starting at 5 p.m., volunteers will organize the quonsets and go through Christmas decor.
Board members expressed the desire to have events to display appreciations for farmers and teachers in the future.
A planning session is scheduled during the board meeting in October. The goal is for members to provide ideas for new promotions and events as well as establish goals.
Chamber accountant Jerald Petersen expressed his desire to approve some methods to make the bookkeeping process work smoother.
