Culbertson Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash

A 41-year-old Culbertson man died in a rollover motorcycle crash about 23 miles southwest of Williston, N.D., late Saturday, Sept. 7.

Jesse Lyon was traveling westbound on Highway 1804 near mile marker 341 at approximately 11:39 p.m. when his 2018 Harley-Davidson motorcycle ran off the road and entered the north ditch, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.

Lyon and his passenger, Cameo Tanner, a 40-year-old woman from Yreka, Calif., were transported to CHI St. Alexius in Williston, where he was pronounced dead. The female suffered serious injuries.

According to the Highway Patrol, confirmation of the driver and passenger remains under investigation.

Neither were wearing helmets.

Other agencies responding were the Williams County Sheriff’s Office, Williston Fire Department and Williston Ambulance.
