Runners Place In Poplar

Members of the Culbertson/ Bainville cross county team competed at the Poplar Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 7.

Rebekah Ellerkamp, a sophomore, earned 21st place in the girls’ division with a time of 27:50.9.

Jade Lonebear was right behind in 22nd place at 27:53.2.

Top girls’ teams were Poplar with 22 points, Scobey with 40 and Brockton with 58 points.

In the boys’ division, Arlie Purvis placed 20th at 22:55.0.

Gunner Glas took 34th place with a time of 25:05.5.

Colin Purvis finished 42nd at 26:53.3. Soren Batt took 45th at 29:29.0.

Top teams in the boys’ division were Poplar with 28, Scobey with 39 and Dodson with 56 points.
