Senior Profile Corpron Likes Being Center Of Activity
Wolf Point High School senior Ali Corpron has a great insight into the school’s newest activity. Corpron plays center for Wolf Point’s first year girls’ football program.
“I’m still learning,” Corpron said of the game. “It’s pretty fun. It’s new.”
The Wolves posted a record of 1-2 during their first action ever held in Glendive.
Corpron is a multi-sports athlete as she also participates in the school’s track and basketball programs.
Her favorite sport is track where she does well in the discus and shot put for the Wolves. She qualified for the Top 10 meet in the discus last year.
Corpron’s goal for her senior track season is to improve each meet.
She also likes basketball and says her favorite part is making new friends. She is hopeful that the Wolves qualify for the divisional tournament this season.
Along with sports, she is active in both student council and National Honor Society. She has been a class representative for student council for four years.
Her favorite class is pottery because she enjoys making projects out of clay.
As far as her favorite teacher, Corpron said, “I like them all.”
Hobbies include hanging out with her friends and her father.
She plans to attend either the University of Missoula or Dickinson State College. Interests include the law or possibly going to culinary school.
“I really like cooking,” she said.
