Indian Hall Of Fame Inductees Include Area Athletic Standouts
The 2024 inductees to the Montana Indian Athletic Hall of Fame will feature several athletic standouts from the area. Those athletes include Dustyn Azure, Felix M. Mc-Gowan and John Morales.
Other individual inductees will be Matt Ball, Mervin “Bebes” Bishop, Mike Chavez, Gary Cross Guns, Darryl Dupus, Allen Fisher, Clayton Good Luck, Leasha Omeasoo, Tony Plumage, Todd Reich, Mike Talks Different, Hardee Skunkcap, Donnie Wetzel Jr. and Phillip Whiteman Jr.
Teams to be honored include the 2002 Hays-Lodgepole state boys’ basketball champions and the 2000 and 2001 Plenty Coups boys’ back to back state cross country champions.
The induction ceremony will take place on Nov. 23 at Carroll College. Olympic champion Billy Mills will serve as keynote speaker.
