Mary Ann Kinnison

Mary Ann Kinnison, 78, of Crosby, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital Sept. 12, 2024.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, at Concordia Lutheran Church. Cremation has taken place.

Mary Ann was born in Poplar, Mont., Sept. 2, 1946, to Ed and Ruth Dowse. She grew up on their family farm in Redwater, Mont. She graduated in Wolf Point, Mont., in 1965.

Her career of working at the Treasurer’s Office in the Roosevelt County Courthouse led her to dating Donald Kinnison. They later married Sept. 12, 1970. Together they purchased Mr. K’s in Crosby in 1979. She loved the social aspect and her hard work ethic showed it.

She is now able to see her loved ones in Heaven, joining her husband, Don; parents, Ed and Ruth Dowse; brother, Chuck; sister-in-law, Phyllis Dowse; nephew, Ron Peterson; Don's parents, Francis and Delma; and brother-inlaw, Robert Kinnison.

Memorials will be used for research of rentinal pigmentosal degeneration.
