Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report
The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 64 calls from Sept. 16-23.
The calls included the following: Sept. 16
Deputies assisted Sheridan County deputies to locate a possible stolen vehicle from Froid. The incident remains under investigation.
Deputies assisted EMS in Culbertson with a female experiencing a heart attack.
Sept. 17
Deputies responded to the Edgewater Apartments in Poplar for a report of a female harassing a tenant. Law enforcement couldn’t locate the suspect.
Sept. 18
Deputies responded to Poplar airport addition housing to provide medical assistance for a woman who suffered a foot injury. Deputies assisted Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice and EMS.
Deputies provided patrol for a train derailment that occurred a mile east of Wolf Point on Highway 25.
Deputies responded to tribal housing in Poplar when a homeowner reported that her adult daughter was drinking and yelling at home. Law enforcement gave the younger woman a warning and she agreed to go to sleep.
Sept. 19
Deputy/coroner assisted with a medical call in Wolf Point. An adult male passed away on the call.
Deputies located an adult male in Culbertson who had a warrant for his arrest and a bond. Brandon Rhodes, 33, used an ATM to post his bond. Deputies then took him back to Culbertson from Wolf Point.
Sept. 20
Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a power pole in Culbertson. MDU was called to turn off the power. The incident remains under investigation.
Deputies assisted BIA social services and FPTDLJ for a report of a female mistreating a baby in Poplar. The child was transported to the hospital.
Deputies responded to Culbertson for a report that an intoxicated male needed to be removed from a property where his ex-girlfriend lives. He accepted a ride to a motel.
Sept. 22
Deputies responded to tribal housing in Wolf Point because an adult female called 9-1-1 several times about a civil matter. Law enforcement warned her to not misuse 9-1-1, but she kept calling. Kayla Beauchman, 30, was cited to tribal court for false and harassing reports to law enforcement.
In addition, the RCSO had the following activity: Wolf Point city limits, two; Wolf Point rural, seven; Wolf Point FPHA, seven; Poplar city limits, nine; Poplar FPHA, five; Poplar airport addition, two; Culbertson town, nine; Culbertson rural, seven; Bainville rural, one; Froid town, four; any other area, one; Brockton town, six; Fort Kipp, four, total, 64.
