Ministry To Change Name, Location
Pastor Arch Woodstock says his ministry will continue in the Wolf Point area, but the work will be conducted under a different name.
Woodstock, whose tenure as pastor at a local church ended last week, said the Green Bean Ministry is changing its name to Good Samaritan Ministry.
“We’re looking to the community for continued support,” Woodstock said of the ministry, which includes feeding struggling individuals at Triangle Park on Tuesdays and Saturday mornings. “We’ve made many friends. The calls [in the past week] have been phenomenal,” Woodstock said.
Woodstock said the ministry has averaged feeding 300 people weekly. The ministry has also provided donations of clothes in the community.
Woodstock is searching for a location to hold his Sunday services and also a place for people to drop off donations.
“It’s been supported by every church in town,” Woodstock said of the ministry.
He feels that Wolf Point is the place to be for his work.
“It’s been the folks of Wolf Point. We’ve loved this town ever since we’ve got here,” Woodstock said. “We’ve seen results from what we’re doing. We’ve seen people get clean.”
