Donation Presented For Tough Enough To Wear Pink Campaign
Individuals and area businesses came through again this yer for a successful Tough Enough To Wear Pink campaign.
This year’s event raised $7,249 including a $2,392 gift from tough Enough To Wear Pink of Montana.
Since 2009, the Tough Enough To Wear Pink program in Wolf Point has raised a total of $83,627.47.
The record amount raised for a year was $10,537 in 2023, which was the Stampede’s 100th year.
This year’s funds included $1,685 from the Stampede golf tournament, $865 in cash from the TETWP table, $307 from concession tips, $500 from pink six-pack coolers, $500 from the Lucky Cowboy program and $1,000 from Blue Rock Beverages/Mike’s Pink Hard Lemonade.
Tough Enough to Wear Pink was created by Purple Cowboy founder, entrepreneur and breast cancer survivor Terry Wheatley in 2004 with Karl Stressman, former director of special events at Wrangler and commissioner of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association.
