Red Hawks Earn Victory Over Richey/Lambert

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks scored a straight set victory over Richey/Lambert in road volleyball action on Friday, Oct. 11.

The Red Hawks claimed a 25-11, 25-20, 25-20 conference win.

Froid/Lake jumped out to a 17-8 advantage in the second set, but a kill by Kally Strohm helped to close the margin to 18-14. Kills by Brooklynn Nordwick and Mara Salvevold led the Red Hawks to a 22-15 lead.

A block by B. Nordwick and a kill by Isabelle Nordwick produced the 25-20 victory.

In the third set, the Red Hawks trailed 18-15 but tied the set at 19-19 on a spike by Joelle Davidson.

With the score at 20-20, the Red Hawks ran off the final five points including three net winners by I. Nordwick.

I. Nordwick finished with two aces, six kills and three blocks. Davidson scored two kills.

B. Nordwick accounted for two kills and three blocks. Alexa Nelson had three digs.

Salvevold had three aces, three kills and four blocks.
