Runners Place In Sidney

Cross country runners from Culbertson/Bainville competed at the Sidney Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 12.

In the girls’ division, Jade Lonebear finished in 36th place with a time of 24:55.7.

Teammate Rebekah Ellerkamp took 37th place with a time of 25:01.5.

Glasgow’s Tanae Baker was the winner in the girls’ race at 19:31.0.

The top three teams were Glendive with 50 points, Glasgow with 70 and Poplar with 78 points.

In the boys’ division, Arlie Purvis finished 54th with a time of 21:17.4.

Gunner Glas of Culbertson/ Bainville placed 63rd at 22:40.2.

Colin Purvis finished 66th at 24:20.3. Soren Batt was 67th at 24:31.0.

Sidney’s Carter Heggem was the winner in the boys’ competition at 16:47.0.

The top three teams were Glendive with 46 points, Poplar with 72 and Sidney with 75 points.

Culbertson will host a meet on Friday, Oct. 18.
